Q. Sometimes it looks like I'm getting old information from your Website. Why?

A. It could be your CACHE. There are several contributing factors which can affect the timeliness of the information your browser is displaying. We recommend the following: Try clicking on reload/refresh. This is the most common way to update your page's information. Most browsers have a tendency to get "lost" or "hung-up" from time to time. Also, most web browsers operate on a cache system, which means they hold previously-loaded web pages in your computer's memory. So, when you go to access a previously-loaded page the browser retrieves the information from the cache rather than downloading the page again. Therefore, in order to receive updated information (i.e. Schedule changes), sometimes you must clear both the memory and disk caches.

Since there are a variety of browsers currently on the market, the procedure of cache clearance will vary. You can often find the cache element under your browser's Preferences or Options menu. Set your disk and memory cache to zero, and be sure to clear both before attempting to reload the desired page.

Q. Where do you play your competitions?

A. East: Randwick Boys High, Sydney Boys High.
North: North Sydney Boys High.

Q. How do I register to play?

A. You can fill out a form at your game or register online via the Registration page. You can also send us an Email via the Contact Us page.

Q. Is it cheaper to prepay the regular season?

A. Yes. In a ten week season your team will save $50 and will save $75 for a 15 week season (East City League) if you choose to prepay the regular season.

Q. Does prepaying my games cover the Semis and Finals?

A. No. You are only prepaid for the regular season.

Q. If I have paid registration at another Basketball Association will that cover my rego at SBL ?

A. NO. SBL is one of the largest privately owned Basketball competitions in Australia and operates with it's own rules and registrations! (Standard "basketball" rules are in accordance with Fiba with some minor variations - See the "Basketball Rules" page for all variations to the Fiba rules.)

Q. How are you able to take our Full Game Statistics?

A. Our highly experienced Bench Officials each have over 500 games experience each. They are able to Score your game, operate the clock and take your statistics down. This is a skill that has taken them years of Officiating to master. Out of courtesy to all players and the bench official, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DISTRACTING BENCH OFFICIALS WHILE A GAME IS IN PROGRESS. You would expect no less than their 100% attention while your stats are being recorded!
